Thomas International, who specialise in psychometric testing for individuals and businesses have joined the likes of Invest Essex, James Hallam and London Stansted Airport as Headline Sponsors of the upcoming Business Excellence Awards Essex.
The event lands at the Colchester’s Five Lakes Resort on Thursday 26 September and will bring together a whole host of companies for a night of celebration.
With 16 categories up for grabs on the night, Thomas International, who work with more than 32,000 companies across the world, is proud to put their name to the event as their Group Performance Director Derek Redmond explained.
“At Thomas International we are pleased to work with over 200 business in and around Essex, spanning a range of industries at a local, national and international level,” he said.
“We work with these organisations to help them make more confident and objective people decisions in recruitment and development using psychometric assessments, which ultimately helps to create better places to work, with higher levels productivity, performance and engagement.
“Through our involvement as Headline Sponsors, we would like to show both thanks and continued support to this exciting and ever-changing part of UK business and look forward to celebrating and recognising your unique achievements.”
From small businesses who are just starting to find their way in the business community, to those who have long established heritage in Essex, the ceremony celebrates all the region has to offer. And, Derek highlighted why it is important to support events such as the Business Excellence Awards Essex.
“In today’s demanding and competitive market, it is often easy to forget to take the time to celebrate and appreciate the fantastic achievements of both our own businesses and others in the local community,” he said.
“Essex is fortunate to be home to many key industries and subsequently an exciting mix of businesses.
“Having the opportunity for everyone to come together to share success and celebrate everything that is great about business in the region is hugely important, both to encourage continued success and growth but also to build relationships within the local business community.”
As well as shining a spotlight on successful businesses across the region, the awards provide a place to raise much needed money for charity. Through a game of stand-up bingo and a silent auction, funds will be raised for the UK’s leading youth cricket and disabled sport’s charity, The Lord’s Taverners. The charity support disadvantaged and disabled children with events across the country.
The night will be hosted by comedian Mark Dolan and popular TV personality Denise van Outen with entertainment coming in the form of The Voice finalists Belle Voci.
